Susan Anderson is an internationally recognized fine artist whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. Her commercial and editorial photography, specializing in portraiture, beauty and fashion, has appeared in a variety of magazines including Los Angeles, Glamour, The Robb Report and Playboy.

Her book, High Glitz: The Extravagant World of Child Beauty Pageants, was published by PowerHouse Books in 2009. High Glitz is a close-up and intimate look at America's child beauty pageants, and in turn our society's obsession with youth, beauty, fame and fortune. Anderson's vibrant portraits of pageant contestants twist notions of sexuality and identity, with a new perspective on this uniquely American subculture.
